Authorize on the platform
You're sent to the platform's own secure login — Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Bluesky or Pinterest. You sign in there, never with us, so we never see your password.
Approve scoped access
You review and grant exactly what uContents needs — publish posts and read basic profile info. Nothing more, and you see the full list before you accept.
We receive a secure token
The platform hands back an encrypted access token — not your credentials — which we use only to publish the content you schedule.

What we store
- Basic profile — your name, handle, avatar and the account or page IDs we need to show the channel.
- Encrypted access tokens that let us publish on your behalf.
- The content you create or schedule — captions, media and posting times.
- Publish results the platform returns — delivery status and basic performance metrics.
What we never touch
- Your social passwords — OAuth means we never see or store them.
- Your private messages, DMs or inbox.
- Any data sold or shared with advertisers or third parties.
- Access beyond the exact permissions you approved.
Encrypted in transit & at rest
Every request runs over TLS, and your connection tokens are encrypted at rest with AES‑256 — only ever decrypted to publish what you schedule.
Least‑privilege access
Tokens are scoped to the minimum permissions needed to publish — nothing else is requested.
Verified webhooks
Callbacks from each platform are validated against signed HMAC signatures before we trust them.
Isolated per workspace
Tokens are never logged or exposed to other users, and access is scoped to your brand workspace and team.

Connecting is one click — and so is leaving. Here's exactly what happens the moment you disconnect a channel.
- Disconnect any time from Settings → Channels — one click, no waiting and no emails.
- We immediately delete the stored access token and stop all access to that account.
- Posts still queued for that channel are cancelled; anything already published stays live.
- For extra peace of mind, you can also remove uContents from the platform's own connected‑apps settings.
- Your library, drafts and analytics stay in uContents — reconnect whenever you're ready.

Will connecting give uContents my password?
No. We use each platform's official OAuth login, so you sign in on their page. We never see, receive, or store your password.
Can uContents post without my permission?
No. We only publish the content you create and schedule, using the scoped permissions you approved. You stay in control the whole time.
Can you read my private messages or DMs?
No. We never request or store access to your inbox, direct messages, or private conversations.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Everything travels over TLS, and your access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES‑256. Tokens are only decrypted to publish the posts you schedule.
Do you sell or share my data?
Never. Your data is used solely to run your account and is never sold or shared with advertisers or third parties.
What happens to my scheduled posts if I disconnect?
Any posts queued for that channel are cancelled. Posts that were already published stay live on the platform.
How do I fully revoke access?
Disconnect the channel in uContents, then — if you'd like — remove uContents from the platform's connected‑apps settings (e.g. Meta Business Integrations or your Google account).
Why did my channel disconnect on its own?
Platforms expire or revoke tokens periodically — for example after a password change or an app review. Just reconnect in one click to resume publishing.
